Position Statements:

Fairgrounds Park: A Valuable Community Asset

Fairgrounds Park and its excellent facilities are a key part of what makes Loveland special—a place where families gather and the community comes to relax and celebrate. As our city grows, it’s important that we continue thoughtful investment in this park. That means maintaining and caring for features like:

  • The splash park, giving kids and families a fun, safe way to cool off

  • The covered event space for gatherings big and small—including favorites like Loveland Loves BBQ and the Corn Roast Festival

  • Well-kept trails and amenities that make the park enjoyable for everyone

Let’s ensure Fairgrounds Park continues to serve the needs of our growing, vibrant community.

Statement on Council Governance:

Effective governance requires that council meetings remain focused, respectful, and goal-oriented. As stewards of public trust and resources, it is imperative that council discussions prioritize the core responsibilities of municipal government: delivery of essential services, sound fiscal management, and the development and execution of sustainable long-term financial strategies.

Efficient use of Council Meeting length time is not only a matter of courtesy,—it is a matter of fiscal responsibility and respect to the taxpayer.

Reopen Lake Loveland Swim Beach — For Our Kids, Swimmers, and Boating Safety

Lake Loveland Swim Beach, now just a pile of rocks, must be reopened for all residents. Our families deserve a safe, accessible place to swim, play, and cool off. This beach is more than just water—it’s a vital space for our kiddos, swimmers, and boaters. As your city councilmember, I’ll insist to bring it back.

Foote Lagoon: Amending the City Budget in May 2025 to fund repairs to the Foote Lagoon Amphitheatre is a positive step toward recognizing and preserving our community’s pinnacle amenities."

The final stage of the Pulliam Building’s completion must be fully funded to ensure its success. Continued support and maintenance of the Pulliam are essential to preserving its role as a legacy amenity in the heart of Downtown Loveland.

We extend our sincere gratitude to the Pulliam Foundation Board and the Loveland City Council for their support and commitment to this vital community asset.

Police and Fire:

"I will advocate for fully funded, effective, and sustainable Police and Fire Departments that meet world-class response times, retain experienced and dedicated personnel, and operate with transparency and strong, accountable leadership. Public safety will always be a top priority.”

Parks and Recreation:

"I’m dedicated to clean, safe parks and an expanding recreation trail system throughout our city. I will fight for fully funded facilities and beloved community events—starting with our 4th of July fireworks, swim beach, concerts at the Foote Lagoon, and the growing demand for pickleball. Families, athletes, and festival-goers alike deserve vibrant spaces to gather, play, and celebrate. I’ll actively engage with residents to understand their priorities and ensure our parks and programs reflect the community’s vision."
